Do you do strict form dead hang pullups?

Just curious....Why not do a similar style "class" or workout at a regular gym for 25 bucks or so a month? Do you just prefer the group atmosphere and motivation?
Unless there is an open area (boot camp/yoga/etc) it's impossible to do.
..and does the gym have kettlebells, boxes, bumpers (foam covered plates), straight Pullup bars (not the bent shite), rowers, rings, etc?
Most places do not.
There is a video series of a guy trying to do crossfit workouts in a regular gym and he's in everyone's way. A royal douchebag. frick that guy. I'd kick his arse.

You: They don't do crossfit!
Me: Here is an example of Cole Sager doing crossfit.
You: Change subject.

Lester would you consider yourself more "ripped" or "swole"?

Have not read the thread, but my sister in law started doing crossfit a few years ago and she was overweight.
After at least two years of doing this "excercise program" she is even bigger than she was when she started. I am honestly asking what the deal is with this program.
I don't know much about it but I see FB posts that make it seem like some sort of cult with their code language and what not.....

When and why do you do kipping pull ups?

Your sister is a fastass with an eating problem.

What you still miss is glaring...

A girl on my Facebook is the same way. I'm beginning to think she just eats like shite.

I still do a lot of strength movements on my own since I'm a member of Spectrum in BR.
Like I said, my BP has dropped a good bit and my HDL levels rose to a better level since doing crossfit. I loathe just cardio by itself. Pounding pavement for 4-5 miles bores me.

I assume you have tried interval training? Do you not like it?
Posted on 3/25/15 at 1:20 pm to LSUAlum2001
I have always found cardio boring as well. I normally do not do much and just focus on my diet to stay lean. I have started running more recently just because I find it relaxing and It allows me to drink more beer.

I do 35 minutes of hard intervals on a spin type bike at the gym. That will work your arse if you go all Out. Alternated speed intervals at a lower resistance and power intervals with high resistance both in and out of saddle...you will be smashed at the end and it ain't boring.

Has anyone here tried running with a waist harness attached to a weight stack. My gym has one and I was thinking of doing a tabata style interval workout with it.
