Pretty good fictional story. I'm from central and have been back there many times. It is kind of creepy in a way, but I have never seen anything out of the ordinary.

Grew up on Planchet Rd. Camped out in those woods many times as a kid. We used to go looking for what was to believed to be Devil worshipers. Never saw any. Saw the creepy house but nothing that scared us

Drove down that road in the early 90 ' s on Halloween night.

Just before that bridge, we had a van behind us and I slowed down to turn around. Dude rear-ended me going about 15 mph. I got out of car and as he was doing the same, I noticed he was pretty large with a heavy beard.

Girls were screaming get back in car and I obliged. Hollered "we're good" and turned around quickly.

NoSleep is a community for original horror stories. Stories may be true or not (but they are usually not). While most of our stories are fiction, we treat all stories like true, real life experiences, because the best scares come when you are immersed in the story. If it helps, don’t think of it as reading a story. Think of it as witnessing an event.

Lived in central my entire childhood/young adulthood and went back there many times. Never saw anything out of the ordinary, but did feel a really weird "presence" by the bridge if that makes sense.

Is this the murder cabin?

I grew up in Central too and heard all the stories. I drove back their once at night. It was scary because my brain told me to be scared. Without the ghost story background, it's just an isolated stretch of woods. there are pockets of woosd like that all over BR.

But, I'm a bit of a believer, so it's fun to theorize over it.
