It's sad because of another murder. But a chair in a gunfight?

There's even sort of a resemblance.

Several friends and relatives of Johnson who rushed to the scene said another family member was responsible, and that the bloody mid-day altercation was the result of a dispute that had erupted days earlier.

Police did not confirm whether the man's assailant was a family member, nor did they release any information concerning suspects in the shooting. No arrests have been made and the investigation is still in the preliminary stages, NOPD spokesman Garry Flot said Tuesday.

How fricked up are these people?

3yr old daughter was at the scene..

This is the only shite I don't get. It happens alot at these murder scenes. While I'm sure these kids see alot of crazy stuff on a weekly basis, I think its pretty low class of adults to bring kids out to the murder scene of a family member.

i lived on America street in baton rouge for 4 years. thats the wrong side of goverment for those who dont know. it was a nice sunny spring day when a guy rolled thru the stop sign and hit another guy going way to fast on a crotch rocket. buy on bike died. as his body laid under a blanket the whole scene turned into a freaking soical event. people showed up and next thing you know the guy driving the car was put in a cop car for his own saftey. my nieghbor who was an EMT at Angola tried saving the guy while i called 911. i saw the whole thing from my porch. freaking crazy i tell you

It's a cultural thing when every dispute has to be settled with guns. That culture is not exclusive to blacks either.

You serious a-hole? If my family member was shot and killed, I would fricking lose it.

Same people . Same small minded obssession.

Far more sympathy less judgement of Chinese families of (Malaysia 370 victims) kicking , slapping & throwing water bottles at reporters/Spokespersons . Threatening mass suicides, having ambulances standing by for those fainting & having screaming fits & public meltdowns.

I can imagine the number of pages /criticism on TD if the passengers family looked liked those of the shooting victim.

I understand that losing someone can be devastating, but it doesn't give you the right to damage public property

Then Johnson "started cursing and yelling at him," she recalled. "I was thinking: be quiet, please just be quiet," she said.

"Before I could close my eyes, the guy started shooting at him and ran. I heard (Johnson) say, 'he got me,'" she recalled.

Johnson sounds like he was a brilliant man!

Most people who are murdered, are killed by people they know.

I personally have known 2 people that were murdered. My cousin was murdered by a "friend." And a friend was murdered by someone who worked for him on his estate.

Sad that people resort to that.
