I watched a real estate show awhile back about homes in Malibu. It could have been us.

What’s the Llamas all about? Staged near the water?

Yes, they are taking rescue animals and putting them on the beach.

I’m amazed by these fires. Is this one still 0% contained? Is there anything that keeps these fires from roaring through a big city if it gets closer to LA, other than man made firefighting?

RH of 4% in Santa Monica today. Santa Anas coming after not getting any rain for the last few months. Not good.
And the SPC has the same areas tagged for high end fire risks early next week too and no rain to be found for at least the next week.

nope.
In the long run city planning will adapt.
You can't have trees next to your house even if shade is nice.
If you don't have a fire proof roof you lose

Half of LA will burn. And then the San Andreas fault will go off the next day.

Updated reports say that nearly 7,000 homes and business have been burned.

Craziest thing I've seen since the San Diego fires about 10 years ago.

This thing may take San Diego too before all is said and done.
