One time I was driving on I-10 from Lafayette to Lake Charles I saw a car with Texas plates use his blinker, get in the left lane to pass, then use his blinker and get back in the right lane so a faster car could pass him.
I guess it could have been a rental but it was still fricking wild to see.

probably using stolen plate, using a blinker in Texas, if not illegal, is a sure sign of weakness

It's what I barely saw...
Driving back from the LSU-Ole Miss game in 2011 in the dead of night. My 10 year old son is laying in the back seat watching a movie on his portable DVD player.
Between Batesville and Grenada it's pitch black. No other vehicles on the road around us, cruise set at 85 in the left lane, brights on. As I am coming off a bridge and the guardrail tapers off, I see a "flash" come out of the median, then a thunk and then I can feel something go under the wheels on the driver's side.
Luckily, I had both hands on the wheel so I never lost control. Didn't feel any shudder in the wheel and knowing whatever I hit wasn't human and damned sure wasn't alive, I kept going.
Got to the hotel in Canton and looked at the car. Nice dent right by the driver's side headlight with two parallel scratches (teethmarks) and a tuft of deer hair wedged in the seam between the quarterpanel and back bumper cover.
If I'd have been going a hair slower, the damned thing would have come through my windshield.

I saw a trailer come unhitched from a vehicle in front of be eastbound on I10 between BR and Nola. The trailer began crossing the median on I10. Big rooster tail of dirt flying in the air. It then entered the westbound lane of traffic and a car hit it, went airborne and flipped in the air twice before it came to rest in front of my truck in the eastbound lane. Dude was busted up pretty bad and first thing he said when I got to his car was to call his boss because he was going be late!

I drove through Toyah, TX on my way to Las Cruces, NM during covid in March 2020. Broad daylight. Didn't pass one car for over 200 miles.
Saw a pack of wolves cross the street in front of me when I was escaping the Camp fire south of Paradise, California in 2018.
Saw someone dressed like the Grim Reaper changing a tire on the street in front of a nursing home in Van Nuys, CA.
It wasn't even Halloween. It was April.

Stopped at a stoplight and a two seat Honda Accord turned by me headed the opposite direction. A woman was driving with a goat in the passenger seat.

Guy pulling a boat on I10, trailer came detached when going over an overpass. Trailer went into the median, tongue dug into the ground and boat and trailer go about 20' into the air and flip end over end. Everything he had in the boat was flying all over the place.
Chick flashing tits from an overpass to traffic below.
Same overpass?

Got passed on I-10 by bluebonnet by a car doing at least 80 on a rim with no tire. Sparks flying everywhere.

Guy takes a shite on somebody's lawn in the middle of the afternoon, almost wrecked my car and died laughing.

I49 south middle of the night.
2004
Start seeing styrofoam ice chests all over the road.
Swerve around them.
See a farm truck. With a bunch more on the back.
Buddy and I look at each other and ill of a sudden... BOOM. Windshield goes dark. Turn on my wipers and it was straight blood.
No idea what we hit. Or what they were hauling. But my car was covered, literally coated from nose to tail in blood.

I-90 WB through Wisconsin. Very large woman sitting on the roof of her car, dangling her legs through the sun roof and waving around some kind of tiny dog.

This thread makes me wonder if roadhead has decreased since everyone has phones and could video now.

A PT cruiser break free from a dolly behind a big UHaul. It rolled for a bit then hit the shoulder and caught some dukes of hazard air before spearing a tree. The UHaul had two chicks in it that were oblivious and when I tried to flag them down they blew me off. Guess they thought I was hitting on them? Idk, I should have followed them to film the reaction when they figured it out.
Btw this was on I10 between Houston and Beaumont.

In college, driving to my grandparents house on a little 2-lane country road. My wife was with me, and we had been dating a little while at the time. It was the first time I was taking her to meet them, and about 40 minutes from their town, this massive cow had gotten out of its fence. I slammed on brakes, the Jeep Cherokee behind me locked his wheels up and was skidding. I don't know how he didn't ram into us. I slowly edged forward, and this thing wouldn't move. This was probably 1999 or early in 2000, I was in my dad's Olds Bravada, basically a Chevy Blazer, and it was larger than the SUV. Biggest cow I've seen in person. It finally moved so we could get around it. We were coming up a slight incline and a little curve, and if I hadn't been paying attention we would have plowed the thing and been injured or killed.

Video from my dashcam. If I had been a couple seconds further down the road the results may have been much different.

I have a long commute. Over the years I have seen other drivers doing the following:
Man using his laptop
Guy jerking off
Woman eating a bowl of cereal
Woman changing clothes
Girl painting her toenails
