I will be hosting a crawfish boil for my Texas and Yankee neighbors. What are your best cooking secrets to knock it out of the park?

If you have to ask, it’s too late.

Whatever you do, don’t use Old Bay.

Don’t boil them, makes them mushy. Toss them in a cooler with your favorite seasoning, shake it really hard and most of them will die from the impact. Then cook in your air fryer on 400 for 3 minutes per batch. Season generously with salt and more seasoning. Put them on the table along with big spoonfuls of Kraft macaroni and Funyuns.

I wonder if my 800W Anova would be able to heat my 80qt pot.

I always add about 10oz of food and drink board. Works like a charm.

Do not scrimp on the tomatoes. Mush them and boil them in the water for at least an hour before adding the crawfish

pour a bottle of Italian dressing in the pot. You will not taste it but they will peel like butter. EVERYONE has doubted me on this... till they tried it.

boil them in just water, then when they're done put them in a chest and pour mustard and then dust them. Saw it on a video once, wondering how bad they are. lemme know.

Put the crawfish in the water directly from the sack and then bring it to a boil. Add two bottles of Tabasco and 2 cans of Morton’s salt. Boil for ten minutes and remove from pot. Dump onto table with newspaper and dust with a combination of Lawry’s seasoning salt and Old Bay. Knock your socks off good eatin right there baw.

Replace the water with Coca Cola and then you won't have to worry about any seasonings.

Bring your pot to a boil before everyone gets there, then turn it off. That way it won’t take as long when you are ready to cook.
