It has been politically corrected at some point. Someone didn't want to offend Jewish or German ethnicities.

The actual books wouldn't prove anything (my wife had some old ones still, they say Stain) if it's a alternate universe merge then everything will refer to Stain. The actual data would be altered but not our memories, because the data exists within the universe, and our memories stay intact it does kind of allude to the matrix now that I think about it.

Why would an alternate universe merge affect some but not others then?

Are the always-been-STAINers from the other universe?

It opens up all kinds of questions like that IMO. I think they merged more or less, pure dumb speculation obviously, but that certain things and certain people merged/were replaced/swapped and others were left intact.

Here's another one:

Snow White

In our original universe: "Mirror, mirror on the wall"

Current universe: "Magic mirror on the wall"

Just caught that the other day. My daughter had me put it on and I was like wtf? It was "mirror mirror" not "magic mirror".

Not known or not hilarious? I find him funny, that's an opinion. He has 1.5 million subscribers, the 1 million mark is youtube's gold play button reward.

Anyway, I just wanted to point out an interesting thing I just noticed. I went to LinkedIn and just out of curiosity, I typed in "Berenstein Bears", and 23 people have them listed on their LinkedIn resumes. From graphic artists to producers to game designers.
How can so many people, who are close to these characters from having worked on them in some way, have it wrong on their professional online resumes?
On the other hand, when I type in "Berenstain Bears", only 1 hit comes up. For Mike Berenstain who now publishes the books. (There are a few companies related to Berenstain Bears, but no other people).

obviously one day you merged into the universe here, the ones that are from this universe did not notice at all because no one loves you or even likes you

OOOOR

the you that was here switched with the you from your universe aka you. And now the You that was here is there, where you are from :D

I actually believe in a multiverse, but not in the sense that some are suggesting

There are some theories however that when you time travel into the past, you are not time travelling back into the past of your universe but hoping into an alternate universe. This is some theorists way of getting around the grandfather paradox

If matter changes due to changing universes, why wouldn't our mind change? Is mind matter?

Also some people are just full of crap. Denial can be especially strong when confronting something that challenges their security in this timeline and universe. It's a frightening thing and it's easier to just embellish or convince yourself otherwise

"Matrix" explanation - the world is a stage. A simulation. We are merely participants and not a part

or

Spiritual explanation - there is more to the mind and memory than the physical, ie our souls

This is the theory I subscribe to.

Another interesting thought experiment is "quantum suicide" - where if you had a revolver and played Russian Roulette, to you, it would seem like you never picked the chamber with the bullet, because every direct chance occurrence like that would cause a split in universes and in the cases where you actually had picked a loaded chamber, and you shot yourself and died, your consciousness would just instantly jump over into the practically identical parallel universe where you hadn't and you would never realize that you had died in the other reality.

Of course, this doesn't take into account instances where you did shoot yourself but didn't die and just lived on as a vegetable. Which is why I don't recommend testing this.

Do the old books say Stain or not?

I'll look when I get home. Everyone pronounced it Stein, clearly.

Parnell universe? Bitch please

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I have *many* near death experiences where the outcome (most notably 2 ridiculous wrecks) was basically certain death and people are always shocked or don't believe me when I tell/show them. Very recently I started to think that, what if I *actually* died in all those instances in those universes. There were also two-three times in the past where I should have been arrested (in TX and LA) outright but the cop inexplicably let me go...3 times that I can count.. I am starting to wonder about this.
