Just in case no one was aware. People bitch about Direct TV going out in heavy rainstorms, but Cox goes out in perfectly fine weather all the freakin time! I called and spoke with technical support and Tabitha told me it may be due to heat or humidity affecting the node. Seriously? Heat and/or humidity in south Louisiana may take my Internet and cable out? Fack Cox.

Rant over.

You seem angry. It's probably the heat and/or humidity

We've lived here 5 years and ours has gone out for a total of maybe 45 minutes outside of the flood

Get them out to fix it.

Make sure they won’t charge you though.

Then call and get a credit back for your services not working properly.

Awhile back we had problems in my area but they had to work on some shite and I don't really have much problems at all (knock on wood).

On the other hand, my mom had DirectTV and they always have problems if the weather is bad..

And I don't think Tabitha knows what the frick she is talking about... With that heat and humidity bullshite.

If only there were viable options now outside of cable.

Why can't we have two or more cable options to choose from? It's one thing if some dumb shite cuts a cable with a backhoe. Cox cannot control that. But gave you ever spoken to one of their customer service reps? They are freakin useless.

By the way, I still don't have cable or internet. I'm posting this thanks to AT&T cell coverage.
