He's like an addict without coffee

Ive got one. He quit his last job two years short of retirement because of his anger problems. He's about to lose his wife. I like the guy and we get along fine most of the time. He's also a personal trainer, I feel sorry for his clients

He sounds like the perfect candidate for an Annoy-a-tron.

He talks to me about dating and stuff too. Asks me how he should go about doing it... Pretty strange for a 47 year old to be asking about how to date

Tell him to chill out or his free therapy with you will be stopped.

Darth,
Honestly the guy may not know how absurd he is being. Unless someone talks to him, officially, to tone it down, he may go even further. It sounds as if everyone has learned to accept his behavior and so he let's it get worse. He needs to control his behavior at work or learn that it's not acceptable.

Be his friend - maybe he'll shoot you last.

Did he ever take of his skate and try to stab someone?

He and I would not be friends.

Why would your break room ever be locked? Do you work in a prison?

Sounds like you folks have some thieves in the office who steal Mini-Moos, Bigelow tea and all of the plastic spoons. Get it together, Guys.

I work at home, my dog gets pissy if he doesn't get his treats.
I dealt with all kinds when I did work in the office:
1. The bitching Guy
2. The girl who is 7 minutes late everyday, rain or shine.
3. The crying girl
4. The smokers who think they get a 10 minute break 8 times a day
etc etc etc etc

So, he’s single at 47, doesn’t know how to talk to people, especially women, has anger issues, hates Christmas and God I presume.
What’s not to like?
Man, he should be slinging it.
