Do you tuck your trouser legs into the boots?

Having lived all over the South and the Mid West I can confirm that boots with business suits are the norm in some parts and looked down on in others.

That's fine, that's your opinion.

I guess if I ran horses, cattle, etc. I would. I am guessing 99% of the guys who wear this look do not.

By that logic...
Do you wear a baseballhat? Better not if you're not a baseball player.
Do you wear any sports insignia? Better not since you don't play for them?
Do you wear any college insignia? Better not unless you attended class there.

Back on topic, clean dress boots are just as good looking with the right pant fit as a pair of dress shoes are.

Sneakers with suits should not be allowed except for old men or people with feet/back problems.

Almost everyday, but not my beat up square toe leather boots I wear at my ranch. I prefer round toes vs square toe with dress slacks.

I have chocolate caimen round toe Tecovas ropers with a matching leather belt.

And I have black round toe Tecovas Ostrich cowboy boots with matching belt.

I typically pair it with nice dress slacks and a button up Brooks Brothers sport shirt or similar. I'll put on a sportcoat during the winter months.

I live in Texas so I feel I can wear boots with whatever I want. I probably wouldn't do it if I lived somewhere up north around a lot of Yankees. Any Southern baw should be able to wear a nice pair of boots however he wants.

My primary call point is in Healthcare and I speak with a lot of nurses. I hear a lot of comments about my boots from them.

If I don't wear my boots to work, I will be in a pair of Allen Edmond dress shoes.

My wife picked out everything for the wedding except shoes. She let me pick them out. She said I couldn't possibly screw that up.

Depends on the occasion. I think boots look good with a sport coat or simply a dressy shirt. However, I think if the occasion is formal enough for a suit, it is too formal for boots.

Then you either have the wrong boots or the wrong suit.

^^^this. The suit, boot and situation matter. I have some Lucchese Caimans that I only wear with a suit.
