My brother and I tried this at our grandpa's farm when we were young. If they are standing up, they are awake and they look at you like you are a fricking retard for trying to sneak up on them.

You better pack a punch. Maybe a 250lb linebacker can do it. But 1000lb is no slouch.
You keep your feet shoulder width apart stay between the udder and the huck
It’s a 32 belly option on two on two

My experience as well. They’re more puzzled than anything else.

Truthfully it is much more than just “tipping” one over.
If you did find a cow “sleeping “ upright (and they weren’t really fully asleep) you’d need a running start to knock one over. It was kinda like hitting a blocking dummy in football practice- - and even then it would not always work

I’ve heard of it but never saw it. Country thing.

Whatcha do is put your shoulder into em….. and push……. And they fall over

When I was in HS, we were out one night and someone said "lets go cow tipping" so we went to the levee and since that person brought it up, everyone was like "since you brought it up, go do it". After a few minutes of stalling the jackass decided to go do it. To his surprise the cow didn't move at all and all of a sudden he took off running back to us and he tripped. We all laughed then he swore that if someone would have went with him to help they could have tipped it over.
I am not even sure if people can even tip over a cow.

Pee on the electric fence while tipping the cow.

We need common sense tipping control

Never tipped one and never tried...and don't think anyone has done it succesfully as a prank....but I do moo at them from the car window. I suspect they think people are insane but pretty benign until they are loaded on the truck on that fateful day....and in the last few hours of their lives have a change of heart on the benign theory....

No, they're too fricking fast. I think the running speed of cows is one of the most obscured facts in all of existence.

I grew up on a farm with cows and I have never seen it done, nor know anyone who has done it.
I always thought it was an urban legend.
