I had some friends go to All Star Lanes the other day and said they were the gestapo about the masks. Top Golf lets you remove it once you’re at your bay, but the bowling alley requires it the entire time unless you’re sitting at your table and also eating or drinking. Cant even remove it sitting down at your own table if you’re not consuming something.

I didn't realize that it was still open. I used the bowl in a summer league at Metro Bowl in the late 80s. Good times.

Man....why’d all you baws quit going to circle bowl? Did something change? Did you perhaps move farther away from the center of Baton Rouge? Why’d you baws move?

Good memories as a horny teenager there. Bowled my first 200 there. And to go down on Chrissy Orlando on the trampoline later, on that very same night, which I also did. And I licked her a-hole a little bit. It was pretty good. It was alright. It wasn’t great. But it was fine.

Amazon bought that corner. It’s going to be an employee enrichment center. There’s going to be a gym, restaurant, mini theater, tech center, and a micro housing facility. Their going to build a tunnel underneath Florida Blvd to transport employees

So this has zero correlation with the Amazon/Cortana deal going through? If I were the land owners, I’d shut it down and put the commercial property up for sale as well.

That being said, galactic bowling in the late 90s/early 2000s was awesome in high school.

While on the subject, why did that house next door always have exotic cars and a completely weird collection of vehicles.

The one we went to was the one off Plank Road and Airine next to McClouds Appliances on the Airline.

Last time I was there in the late 1970’s,Lynyrd Skynryd was on the jukebox and it was my birthday. The girls we were with were killing it in their short shorts, K&B drug store beer was the beer of choice, and you could legally drink at 18 yrs old.

Someone from Glen Oaks, tried to steal a car battery out of my friends Ford Pinto Hatchback. My friends from Istoruma caught that sucker and we gave him the old North Baton Rouge treatment.

Went to the Candelight Strip across the river after we dropped the ladies in the short shorts off. We met a stripped named Moonlight and it was a night to remember for any 18 yr old young man.

Finally, got home around 5 am crawling in the door as my brother said with a huge smile on my face.

The 1970’s were a great time to be a young man.

Would not surprise me.
It was nasty even back in the 70’s.
Back then you could smoke while bowling.

Tried to take my son bowling twice at All Star Lanes this week. Saturday they had a 90 minute wait.

Today I couldn’t bowl @ 4:30 because they were holding lanes for league play that would come later.

I was legitimately trying to bring him on Wednesday to Circle Bowl, though I used to sleep with a bartender there about 10 years ago and I’m fairly certain she still hangs there.

So in short All Star lanes can kiss my arse.

I thought of that this weekend. His house had like 4 garage doors and he’s have Lambos and Ferraris outside. People used to say they were ‘kit’ cars but I have no idea the truth.
