That’s the universal sign for somebody slept with somebody else.

I much prefer the no facebook account me and my wife share. Facebook is a cesspool of relentless crap intruding on life. I don't want to know or follow what 100s of people are doing
I gave up a 10 year drinking habit and my wife gave up facebook. It has been the best deal we ever made with each other.

Couples with joint FB accounts.

Hen pecked husband. Jealous wife. I always feel like they obviously don't trust each other.

Why would any man be on facebook?
Posted on 7/28/25 at 6:08 am to The Scofflaw
Of the 3'couples I personally know who do this, the wives do about all of the posting. One the husband has been a cheater. The other two, the husband doesn't cheat, but the wives are insecure.

I know a few where the wife came from a previous marriage full of cheating and has trust issues and the baw dont care.
But other than that, that's a flag for someone wasn't faithful

That or its just not being trustworthy no matter how loyal the other spouse is. It could also be religion.
I have one who is a religious couple from the country. I am not sure if its because of what's listed above, or if its because "we married and have now become one entity."

Nothing says "I cheated" like joint FB account.

Never thought about it.

I have really only seen it 1 of three ways
1) they are old when they create one, usually over 70-75
2) someone cheated
3) 1(usually the husband) has zero desire to have any form of social media but his family bugs the wife so she changes it to a joint account that the husband never even looks at and has zero desire to see
most is the first 2 though.

My wife has her account. I’m am on record as preaching to everyone that Facebook is a huge waste of time, so I can’t have my own account, I painted myself into a prideful corner When I wanna know all the stupid crap going on I look at hers.
Given I only know 1/4 of the people, and over 3/4 of the crap on her feed is snake id pages (she is convinced one is coming thru the toilet or out her ac vent) I don’t do it often
Sad, I know.

Yeah but you scrolling your wife's account is different than the OP where both partners are listed in the FB name.

Someone was fricking someone else and they decided this was the best route instead of just getting rid of social media.
Morons.

Are you too dense to understand that a man's wife can simply add his name to her FB account?
