I doubt very seriously that any of the people that helped make him rich, his fans, give a shite about his point of view on black lives matter.

Are you implying there is something wrong with being a redneck?

Most rednecks are good people. I'd sacrifice 3 progressives to save 1 redneck.

Yeah I keep listening and trying to learn “what’s really going on in this country” that could possibly justify all this outlandish belly aching about supremacy and oppression and racism and I never hear anything except chants and slogans and hatred. According to statistics, “what’s really going on in this country” is black men are slaughtering other black people and an unarmed black man is more likely to die from a lightning strike than a cop.

I’d sacrifice 3,000,000 progressives for fried shrimp Poboy and hubig lemon pie.

Rednecks are the only 'social group' that you are allowed to make fun of in broader American society, and that tells you where they stand on the totem pole.

I, for one, am an advocate for the little man. The outcast. The demonized. Let's pound some natties and listen to Street Survivors

It's like focusing on a pimple on your nose when you have stage 4 cancer. It's laughable.

I make pretty good money and have a decent lifestyle but I'll still pound some Natties with you. My FIL is a retired truck driver and he and I will kill a case or two of Milwaukee's Best a day in a few months during the Thanksgiving holiday.

shite gives me a headache now but I'm the son he never had and consider it my duty

I can hear the wife now "dammit, Fallguy, you've been out on Warrior River with dad all day and you come back shite faced and ready for a nap?".

My wife's old boss told her to bring him some moonshine back from Alabama years ago. She was telling her dad that story and laughing and said she didn't know where to get any of that.

FIL said, "Fallguy, let's take a ride". We went out to his still at the camp and brought back 3 wine bottles full of that shite. I drank some of it one night and it put me down. Love that old man

I dont get these guys. They use the words BLM like it's a literal notation when in reality its an entity with an anti American agenda.

They're too stupid to separate the 2.

I hate BLM et al as much as the next guy, but I suggest folks actually be sure to watch the video interview itself, and note some slight yet significant variations in the description of what all he said therein.

He didn't specifically reference BLM the organization, only agreed that "yes, black lives do matter" so as to say all lives matter. As for the myth aspect, it's hard for me to opine on that as it was a bit unclear the EXACT spirit of the point he was making on that. That's one the viewer of video will have to judge for themselves. And it may take a couple/few times to hear it to conclude anything.

And finally there's his mention of newfound opinion that maybe he needs to listen a little more and adds that we all should. Just trying not to leave anything out.

I came to post this because over on the PT I myself was guilty of jumping to the worst possible conclusions about this guy (who I really do not know much about, I think he has a song with "Whiskey" in the name, that's all I got) after making the mistake of not bothering to even watch the video. Had to correct the record.
