This is my go to example when talking about the quality of an elected official. Evidently this woman has a degree, but.. Well just see for yourself.

She's also awaiting sentencing for corruption and fraud.

But she got elected..

That video makes me feel awkward. It's just not something I would expect to happen in the chambers of the U.S. House of Reps.

Scott Walker? That is pretty mind boggling

He was in college and dropped out to pursue politics I believe, so its a bit different than say, Average Joe the Wendy's worker.

Thing is you have to be pretty much college capable mentally to pursue that type of deal on a high level, but the American electorate can always surprise.

I have a feeling most who didn't graduate college didn't because they were already involved with politics. That's the case with the Louisiana congressman

Ya, you have the ones that just can't cut it, then the folks who already have an "in" to their chosen profession, so they don't see the point in continuing. Like the tech folk types.

Probably in Eunice or other small towns. Real political office like Gov, US Senator, President? No chance

Scott Walker (Governor of Wisconsin) does not have a college degree. He had presidential aspirations, but I think that not having a college degree held him back (IMO). I wouldn't vote for a politician who lacked college education.

I guess her favorite chant should have been:
One, two, three, four, five
Corrine Brown will take that bribe.

I like how she says "and one of my favorite gator cheers" as if its something like "It's. Great. To be. A. Florida Gator" then spouts off some bullshite you would hear at a SWAC matchup.

To be honest, there are a crap load of college degrees that would not do a single bit a benefit for you as far as political stuff so I don't think it's completely necessary that you have one.

Better question is can you do it with no money.

Nope.

My dumbfrick ex-boss, I pray he see's this, became the mayor of the shite hole town in Mississippi that he's from. The town has maybe 350 residents and most are over the age of 50 probably. He barely has his degree in geology and failed his certification test for that 3 times. So anything is possible.

In St. Bernard Parish, of the 7 councilpeople:

2 have a bachelor degree
1 has a "certificate" from a secretary school like 40 years ago
4 have no post-high school degree or certification

However, in St. Bernard Parish, only 12.5% of the parish population age 25+ has a bachelor degree... so really, the smart people are well outnumbered.
