I disagree. I could last 5 minutes but didn't say win.

I just don't see a good counter argument against. There are plenty for losing a fight but not lasting 5 minutes.

Your argument is that you're going to take him down and maintain top control for 5 minutes?

I rolled with a buddy of mine who does jui jitsu. He had me tapped in probably less than a minute. I thought the first one was lucky bc I'm def stronger. They just know all the moves and holds that makes it hard.

I could cut weight to be a flyweight and get my arse handed to me. Those dudes are simply too fast and too conditioned at that weight. Might not get knocked out, but would be sucking wind hard after two minutes.

I wouldn't try to spar. I would let them take me down. If they won't, walk around the ring.

If I got full mount just sit up or lay dead weight style on top while controlling their wrist.

If I got half mount, drive forward and place their shoulder and head to the ground and lift mid section.

If under, their legs could not wrap up enough not get out by pushing off the hips and crab walk.

at might not get knocked out. If he wants toi knock you out he will and if he wants to submit you he will and whatever he chooses it would take less than a minute to do so.

What if they wanted to keep it standing?

“prance“ around the ring. Seems gay but it won't get you winded in 5 minutes. Don't run. Just strafe and avoid the corners. If he gets too close just cover the face and grab hold of the upper body. Leg kicks take time and won't knock you out.

If it is possible to win by way of exhaustion, and by exhaustion, I mean running in circles until he collapes…. Then Yes. Other than that, No.

I admire the confidence, but my money is on the professional fighter.

I couldn't last 5 minutes in a ring with Rocks, so there is no way I could last 10 seconds in a ring with an UFC fighter.
