I did back in the 80s but hell no now. After a fall that broke my neck, 4 surgeries, a stroke, and no balance anymore, gonna have to pass

I once hung off ropes on the sides of buildings.. 40 stories high... I am a master rigger...
but no longer want to go above 8 feet above ground.

I work in this industry but I ride a desk in the office. No way I could do what these guys do. I have tons of respect for them.

Last guy on the left seems to be firing up a blunt (I know, it is really a cigarette), but the last guy on the right is holding an empty gin bottle and looks like he is where the contents of said bottle wound up.

I wouldn’t even stand on the roof of the completed building.

No way. I once had to deliver a welder/generator to the 80th floor of an office building.
The floor was in and there weren't any walls.
It was cold, very windy and the construction elevators on the side of the building were unnerving.

Noop, noop, noop.
I took a fall years ago and the panic attacks at height thereafter are a real bitch to manage.

Those yo-yo’s will save your life, but won’t they also take your nuts off? Like it’s a mandate to immediately get to the ER after activating it because you will suffer damage.

I own a recruiting business and staff this type of position for an apprenticeship for a union and a private company. It's pretty hard to find people to do it but it pays very well, tons of overtime and per diem pay for people willing to learn and get the job done.

What are the life insurance benefits like through the union and private employers?

Great Depression or no Great Depression, I don’t need a job that bad.
