The fact that cannibalism was once so prevalent that human beings evolved mechanisms for identifying those who partook is insane.
I do think there are/were types of humanoids we aren't generally aware of. The uncanny valley exists for a reason. If a human sees even an image that is too close to being human...but not... It near universally triggers a spike in blood pressure and feeling of unease.
Now, why would that exist if there was not instances in human history where something that looked almost exactly like a human (and wasn't) was a predator?
I can also say I have encountered two people in my life who weren't what they appeared. One an old woman in New Orleans who grabbed my arm in my early 20s with a strength I couldn't match even though she appeared blind and maybe 90lbs. She held my arm until she finished speaking and then walked off without aid of a cane or guide. The other was also in New Orleans. A very well dressed man in a suit right by Masperos. I realized my girlfriend and I were the only ones on this usually busy street. He was at least a block away. We were 10ft from Masperos door, and every instinct in my body was screaming at me to shove our way into that restaurant so as to not run into that person. Shoved her through the door, turned to the glass to look out, and he was standing 3 inches away. He was smiling but his eyes were seething with rage. He covered a block in less than 15 seconds. I can't explain wtf it was. But he covered a little under 500ft in that timespan in slick dress shoes wearing a suit. Usain bolt couldn't do that on a new Orleans sidewalk.
Now do I think reptilians are eating baby jerky? Nah. But I also didn't think orgeron would coach the finest football team in NCAA history.

That photo/quote is misleading, and inaccurate. Someone added stuff to his actual quote. They added the words "Miss Teen USA" in the top paragraph, and the "14-16" and "teens" to the second paragraph. So yeah, he got away with going backstage during the pageants, but he never specifically mentioned Miss Teen USA or teens; actually he specifies women. He very well could've been referring to Miss USA or Miss Universe.

Neanderthals were the strongest threat to humans, and Denisovans look like they could have been on the same level.
Neanderthals had more interaction with homo sapiens because they shared the same territory. Denisovans were in an isolated region of Siberia, and it's not known if they died out before humans interacted with them to a significant degree or if they were killed off by homo sapiens
