Simple question. Let’s fast forward three weeks. Government checks are a no show, and the gangsters start breaking in to closed retail to steal. Get extremely cocky and start to defy law n order, shootings, rapes, etc. Hospitals now inundated with patients being victims of acts of violence. Government tosses in towel and reopens everything.

Nothing like any of what you posted will happen. Maybe it would if Coronavirus turned you into a zombie or something.

Small business owners are pissed. If the gubment wants this to continue, they'll have to resort to buying people off.

We are in uncharted waters here. Anything is possible. The crunch hasn’t come yet but I am seeing more random violent acts slowly creeping upwards.

Agreed. I don't think people have thought through the implications of shutting down society for a couple of months. All the while expenses like rent just keep on coming. A lot of businesses (large and small) aint going to make it.

Which is evident. It's a shite show, everyone just copying everyone else.

Think logically. This country has gone through worse things than corona and has come out fine. Everyone has their bullshite Katrina horror story, (not discounting some are definitely real, but many are greatly exaggerated) but look at real life, 90% of people after disasters come together and help their fellow man.

True but that’s isolated events where fellow man in neighboring state can come help after. This is a nationwide event where no help is available. You see what the government realizes is that either they commit economic suicide or they reopen everything and let this virus run its course. People will die but the majority will not, and they will be better prepared when they do decide to let it run its course. However, killing the livelihood of its citizens is going to set us back years than what a low fatality rate virus would do.

Eh, this is a lot different than your regular natural disaster. This is a government induced disaster.
