In Covington, the Costco is much better than the Sams IMO. Food (pizza and hot dogs) is better, employees are better, checkout is better. Maybe it is because it is still fairly new and the efficiency wears off after awhile, but I hope not.

Every Costco I’ve ever been to is in the most inconvenient location and has the entire town shopping there at once

Nothing but old white people at my Costco. I have never been a member till 4 years ago. I look forward to going there about once a week or so. Great place and zero issues shopping there.

Costco gas pumps all have longer hoses than Sams does and can reach either side of my truck, but you still see people stacked up in the line for whichever side their gas tank is on

i mean..i figured this out like the first time i got gas and the giant signs said 'you can go to either side'.

Booked a trip through Costco this past summer. Went to Mexico at an all-inclusive resort for 5 days, air fare, transportation to and from airport, 200 buck to spend at resort (did a couples massage) and 200 dollar gift card to Costco. Total for us:3300.00
Hell, I drank 1000.00 worth of pina coladas myself. Food was off the chart.

i live 10 minutes from Sams and just the difference on pool supplies is worth it. I save $7 per package for baking soda in bulk and chlorine is much cheaper.
