Rough estimate on a 30x50 building with 12' walls and a 2/12 pitch (materials, labor and concrete slab)?

Check out Mueller Steel. With a little help from a few friends it can be erected yourself. 30x50x12 is just under 10k.

You will need about 30 yards of concrete for a 4 inch slab and footers. I think concrete is running about 120 per yard. Not sure about labor costs.

I just had a 25 by 50 built on slab. 25 by 30 enclosed 25 by 20 carport. Got it insulated. 3 8 by 10 roll up doors. And one walk through door. 25k. I'm in Houston by the way. And I had my driveway widened included in that price. I'm doing electrical myself for about 1500.

I had a 24 x 36 full insulated metal, with a 16x25 ft engineered loft, 2 roll up doors, one 4 ft entry door, 14 ft walls on a 6" slab for right under $25k.

This was in Lafayette.

tip for you--you can and should add height relatively cheap. I would take that eve to 18 or 20 foot minimum.

I realize I'm a little late to this, but if you don't mind my asking, who was your contractor/builder and who was the metal building company? I'm also in Lafayette and planning an almost identical project.

I commend him for using the search function rather than starting a new topic. More than you can say for most posters.

Gotta deduct a point for the double post, though.
