The ol respiratory droplet bullshite made up theory
Would love to know how it was Lab tested that droplets stay in the air long enough for someone else to breathe in coming from an Asymptomatic carrier who is just normally exhaling and inhaling.

HOW: They’ve made measurements monitoring droplet sizes and amounts with people breathing, talking, coughing, etc. then you just apply the physics of particle dynamics . Ncbi
Apply data from rate of infection And there’s your answer.

So, are you going to teach your kids to not cover their mouths when they sneeze?

Why not mandate everyone wear N95 masks?
Because N95 masks are only for healthcare people. They arent for us normal people.

The infectious aerosol droplets that can stay suspended for a short time are in the 2 to 10 micron size based on what I've been reading. N95 stops 95% of 0.3 micron particles and a higher amount of larger particles.
Wear dat mask,
Or JBE gon kick yo azz.

Those studies are pointless. They coughed and counted to 100 in an air tight box. It doesn’t mimic someone walking around the grocery store or air currents in the least.

Yes I will. I’m talking about someone simply breathing walking around inside of a building not coughing or sneezing. There is entirely too many variables at play to suggest they can infect someone by simply not wearing a mask.

It's basically a way to get people to keep projectile droplets from exiting their mouths and noses.
Yet there was no mandate by penalty of fine/imprisonment if you don’t wear the mask properly. Nor is there a mandate to wear it 100% of the time. So the masks are 100% useless other than to appease the weak minded.

You keep believing that. I only wear the mask for appearances sake and usually leave it sitting out for hours until I need it again.

The gas station across the street from me sells them en masse.

So, if I’m not sick, why should I wear a mask, if everyone else is?

I live in Jefferson Parish so maybe I'm biased

You are completely missing the point. The mask isn't there to protect the mask wearer. It's there to help knock down droplets and whatnot. It also cuts down on the times people rub their mouths/noses and then touch things in public areas.
Similarly, it won't do you any good to cover your mouth when somebody else sneezes. You want the sneezer to put their nose into their elbow.
This isn't that hard of a concept to grasp.

That depends on if people without symptoms can carry and spread the disease. If not, then no it probably won't help.

Why not?
Trump can force any company in the US to make them same way he forced Ford and GM to make vents.
Besides in January any Tom, Dick, or Harry could get a N95 from Lowe's for a little bit of nothing.

If that’s the case why is there so many different opinions on it?
Even how the CDC handled it in the beginning. No masks. Then only N95. Then any mask. Now just cover your face.
Then you have other countries with no mask mandates unless they’re showing signs/symptoms or high risk.
Can you not see how people have a hard time believing anything at this point?

That is how science actually works. It's not sound science until you have had multiple studies on efficacy. Now that deaths AND hospitalizations are down the new narrative is about "permanent lung damage" which is ludicrous. There is absolutely no evidence to back up that statement besides fear. Cloth masks are ineffective. Surgical masks are ineffective at preventing the person from catching it. The only truly effective mask is the N95 and even that doesn't prevent you from catching it in your eyes.
