How does everyone feel about testing.
A friend of mine who is a nurse at a local urgent care says they have the tests at their office, but have to contact the LA Office of Public Health to qualify the patient before testing.

Here are the FACTS:

ONLY 50 people have died (out of a Country of over 300 million) in the US from this, and currently there are only 10 serious/critical cases, and only 7 out of every 1 million Americans get this and 93% of those 7 out of a million survive. LINK

For those that give a shite:

1) Expect doctors appts and procedures to be cancelled en masse. If you have a critical need to see a physician do it sooner than later.

2) If you currently take any medications that you MUST take daily refill them now.

3)If you have an elective surgery that you can live without for another 6-8 weeks consider postponing. I mean live with out here in the literal sense.

Most importantly realize that healthcare as you know it may be different for the foreseeable future. We coddle american pts in so many ways. We are moving to a triage model in every sense of the word.

We should have emptied out the hospital at least a week ago.

We should have cancelled all elective cases a week ago.

We should have stopped bringing people to facilities for MD appts that could have been done by phone.

We should have ordered supplies for this in December/January.

We should have cross trained staff somewhat 2-4 weeks ago for the potential to work in other areas.

We should have stopped seeing pts inside the ED and moved to a triage tent system outside 2 weeks ago.

We should have had a plan and some fricking tests.

My sources were my day at work. Also feel free to look at the JH tracker for California. Or maybe listen to your president who declared a national emergency. Or do nothing.
Are we talking about Covid patients that aren't being tested...or are we talking about a terrible flu season.

I leave on Spring Break and this is on page 415. Now here were are in the middle of the 600s.

Have you guys figured out the toilet paper shortage facing America yet? I promise, you are more likely to suffer from lack of TP than contracting CV19.

This site is erroneous. We have many critically ill in my city alone. We are starting to see the surge now. The south bay facilities are saturated and the hospitals here took draconian measures today to try to stop the system from failing. Sure this affects some people mildly but I truly wish the masses would quit downplaying the hard times some of us are having out there. I have never been scared to come to work, I have never had to ration care, and I have worked the last 13 flu seasons in critical care areas. Please just have decency and hope for those of us in the thick of it.

What hospital?
With all of the panic news cycle the media would be all over this.

Please list your sources and which news outlets have reported this, because you're the only one claiming this, and the stats reject this.
