How original. Did you come up with that yourself, arse clown? I haven't bought a single thing to "prepare" for some doomsday scenario. I don't fear this for myself, I'm just humble enough to understand that I could, in part, cause someone's death by not taking this somewhat seriously. You know why the flu kills so many people? Ignorant pricks like you, who don't care about anyone but yourself.

CORONAVIRUS CURE? Two researchers the University of Tennessee in Knoxville have discovered a chemical compound that, if it passes more testing, could be the cure to stop coronavirus and prevent it from spreading.

How long does it normally take the CDC to provide confirmation (confirmed or proved negative) of the presumptive cases?? I assume the likelihood is the presumptive cases will all be confirmed but so far none in Louisiana have been yet.

In Frisco, TX this week, a 30 year old tested presumptive positive on Monday and was given the co-vid text that evening. His confirmed positive test results were announced Wednesday along with his wife and 3 year old. 1 elementary school aged child tested inconclusive and the 4th texted negative. Seems to happen fast once you get a presumptive positive.

If you do have corona, are you supposed to do anything differently than you would if you caught the flu? Besides putting more emphasis on quarantining yourself?

Other than sel-quarantine, the state department of health will test family members and friends who have been in close contact with you. They will also follow up those progress which may be important if you struggle with this virus.

No, they won't. They have been trolling the entire thread. I'll quit though, I don't want to be a factor in clogging up the thread. I'm just sick of these ignorant bastards. Sorry guys.

I wonder if there are external factors that influence your course that we don't know about yet

As far as I know we could say the same thing about influenza or other viral pneumonias. They have a wide range of presentations. I haven’t seen any literature that has been able to identify why some healthy patients have mild symptoms and some get ARDS and die.

If I had to guess it would be due to aspects of the individual’s immune system that we haven’t identified yet.
