Germany has over 1000 cases and ZERO deaths.
Germany actually had two deaths today, and the number of infections have doubled in just a couple days. It is just hitting Germany. It has been in Italy for a month now resulting in 463 deaths. It's not an instant death, expect the toll to rise over the next few weeks there. I'm not one to overreact, but blindly posting numbers without perspective is not the best route.

This is why this thing is so confusing. Either they just aren't reporting (likely) or we really know very little still about this virus and its preferred demographics.

So your response to the “good” Germany numbers is that they will die eventually?
Interesting take.
Interesting take.

Do you have any proof that the twitter thread is fake? I havent seen anything.

Seeing reports of 17 cases in Georgia now. I assume that is the total number, not just a number of new cases.

It seems like around six weeks is the mark for fatalities. Based on the rapid surge of deaths in a tight group in the US from the nursing home infection.

Lol says the guy who is now stating definitely it’s “just now hitting Germany”.
How do you know that?

And here comes the number one die hard right on schedule.
Germany has over 1000 cases and ZERO deaths...
Germany has two deaths and 1,204 active cases. The nCFR for Germany is 0.2% and the estimated cCFR for Germany is approximately 1%. The majority of the German cases fall in the 20 - 50 age range.
The combined nCFR for Italy, Spain, France, & Germany is 4%.

Considering deaths spiked drastically in Italy at about the one month mark, the data says yes, it's very possible. Breaking down data and patterns tends to give better results than ignoring due to bias.

He's been trolling all day. He's got mental issues so just ignore everything he says.

Did you see the guy tweeting? Nothing since 2013 then bam. He suddenly “knows a guy” and tells this story that hasn’t been on the news or shared with video or first hand accounts with people willing to put their name on it? Come on y’all. Don’t be so gullible. It’s 2020. Information is too readily available for y’all to believe this random thread of doom and gloom.

How does Mexico only have 7 cases? Just a lack of testing and the number is probably much higher?

N95 only for the RN caring for a confirmed pt.
Why though?
WHO says droplet, contact with eye protection is sufficient as it is NOT spread via airborne
Only time you need N-95 is if you are doing procedures like intubations, bronchs, etc

Neither? I think it is to prevent healthcare worker shortage.
Apologies. That came across poorly and I do not disagree.

American Academy of Dermatology just cancelled it’s huge annual meeting in Denver. I think that is a first

That's what the data is saying, not me. Germany's cases doubled in the last 3 days. They are on a path very similar to Italy, who also had very few deaths at the beginning.

Don’t bring your weather hoopla in here!!!
Jk... what is nCFR? Fatality rate expected?
