Tin foil hat time.
This shite was created by the government and released on purpose to reduce Chinas ever increasing poor elderly population. Which due to the 1-2 Child policy China had for so long are mostly male.
This ties into the forced relocation of the poor older population to city housing aka ghettos that has been going on in recent years.

No man. It’s a trade war thing.
Trump figured out a non-political way to slow the import of Chinese goods.

Certaintly probable considering the government in question.

If there’s any truth in those articles, that is good news, especially for the children.
Let’s be honest, this all goes back to living standards. There’s a reason why the first Japanese and American deaths have been in Wuhan.

Ummmmm maybe because that’s where the outbreak started
What about living standards makes a difference with this disease? If you want to claim quality of medical treatment after diagnosis you may have a point.

That all fits into the bucket of living standards...
Eat shitty food, live in overcrowded places, frequent smokers, cramped apartments, overcrowded and substandard hospitals

Or
It has an affinity for ACE in Asian males because that’s the population that the virus developed in. The virus mutates in animals and then jumped to humans. I’m not surprised it shows an affinity for those original hosts

I’ll start by saying none of these have been proven as risk factors for dying of coronavirus. But you could use the flu as comparison.
Show me where eating “shitty” foods makes you more likely to die of the flu or any respiratory illness. If anything these patients are less obese than the land whales in our population. If I’m a betting man my money is on the average Wuhan citizen who is likely not obese vs the average obese diabetic American if medical treatment is the same.
Live in overcrowded places... that may effect spread, but how does it effect mortality?
Frequent smokers... possibly but I would need to see evidence this effects mortality
Overcrowded and substandard hospitals... this is your only valid point

Sars, bird flu, and this all started in Asian markets because of the shitty contaminated foods they eat
And for your bottom question, it all ties into it spreading... you can’t die if you don’t get it

I wonder if you give an acei like captopril or lisinopril in conjunction with every antiviral we have if such a cocktail would be beneficial. Worth a shot based on that study.

Let’s do Coronavirus vs Flu world wide.
Flu wins hands downs in infections and deaths.

Chinese markets. Don’t clump the rest of Asia with China.

Correct that explains the initial mutation. But you haven’t said how diet effects your likelihood of dying once you get the virus.
Your original claim was that the American and Japanese died in Wuhan because of the conditions there.

The disagreement was on mortality of people who got the virus. You are moving the goalposts

To be fair, the flu had a few months head start and is an equal opportunity infector.
