Sure they were. Tom Cotton knows. Well he doesn't really know what the truth is, he just knows it's a lie. Very convenient.

I know you trust china’s Government over our own. This thing won’t get over 15,000 right?

I just hope developing pneumonia and needing oxygen isn't the norm. Tens of thousands that need oxygen at the same time would be really bad.

This isnt a normal virus. You dont cremated immediately after the flu.

The norm is mild symptoms.

All 5 cases in Germany were back to normal within a few days.

Really few deaths outside of Wuhan. It’s not clear if that’s because Wuhan has more pts further along in the process or thier medical system is too overwhelmed to be effective.

No cities medical infrastructure can handle thousands of extra pts needed critical care.

Good points.

I also think I read something about early cases in an outbreak typically targeting those most vulnerable already.

It’s not legal to share classified information.

I’m sure he’s getting top secret briefings. As a member of the integance committee I’m sure he’s getting breifings on things going on inside of China. I assume that why he’s saying they aren’t being honest. I would also assume that’s he’s hearing concerns about the origin of this virus.

More people have died in the US from the flu than have died from Coronavirus in China since the outbreak started

I keep seeing this posted. Is this true?

Meh, there are millions of medical oxygen cylinders in this country...and an endless supply of medical oxygen as long as power plants don't shut off the power

Just giving you a hard time. I am actually interested to know the answer to stout's question too.

ETA: An NBC News article from today says that 68 children have died in the US this year, but does not say how many total deaths.

About 10,000 in the US have died from the flu since 10/1.

I don't believe he has any insider information about China's "real" numbers. You don't go throwing around the BSL4 lab and saying "just to note" if it's classified information. Like I said earlier, the guy seems to be more up to date than most, but I believe alot of his comments are just speculative.
