The last 3 days, Louisiana has had 27, 61, and 44 deaths totaling 132. Sweden has had 80, 81, 107 totaling 268. Even today, after all Louisiana has done, it still has a slightly higher mortality rate than Sweden.

Remdesivir will be initially be reserved for more severe cases as it is extremely difficult for them to produce. They had already announced a large increase in production once the military had signed a deal for the drug back in early March.
BTW, Gilead had announced previously that they would give away the first 1.5 million doses, or enough to treat 300k patients for free.
Trials are now ongoing to find a combination of remdesivir with other drugs to find a superior treatment now that a baseline has been set.

Trump was just on the Moon Griffon show (Louisiana talk show) and he said that JBE is a nice guy. My question is did JBE fudge the numbers to Trump like he did to us?? I was mistakenly hoping that Trump would light a fire under his butt.

As it should be and thanks for that info.
I'm just very worried that more testing will lead to more positives (that part doesn't worry me actually) which will lead to staying closed (THIS is what worries me).
My question is this: test me today. I'm negative. YEAH! I go to work, I go to Target. Are they going to test me tomorrow to see if I'm still negative? How will this testing work? GREAT 200,000 per month but who .. how often .. will I be tested because of my race (the whole health/race equality issue). Any my mistrust if you will of this plan isn't misplaced as it's Louisiana after all.

Dependents are likely young as well (wives and children of active duty). But, based on my experiences some of these women can be quite large - nCFR 0.5%.

We have tested 9,000 random employees at my work all across the state of Louisiana
8% infection rate
If you extrapolate that infection rate to the entire state it’s a mortality rate of 0.48% in Louisiana
Seems about right
So the virus isn’t that deadly and the hospitals aren’t overwhelmed. Get back to work

Let’s not forget you work for a Large medical system With lots of health workers who are more susceptible to contracted illnesses.

So, for everyone who has taken it we have their age, sex, and job title. Gives us a good idea of how that matches with state population to assume infection rate based off those parameters

Both. Some are required but most volunteered. And it’s not over. People can get tested for free any time they want.

I guess to be more clear I shouldn’t say infection rate. It’s based off antibodies, so assumed infections

It’s just a very large population that’s been tested whether they’ve shown symptoms or not. Not very different from the cruise ships but way more people.
