Corn dogs

I don't get why so many people associate LSU with corn dogs. I grew up in BR and probably saw fewer than five the entire time. Is it something from great-grandpa's days?

I don't get why corn dogs would be derogatory. They're delicious and tasty as hell and everybody eats them.

I'm not sure why people think it's an insult to smell like corn dogs. Them frickers are good, man!!! I could eat a whole box at once!!!

It's a dumb but amusing (depending on perspective) diatribe about LSU fans which got picked up and spread from Auburn to other SEC schools, and hence LSU fans are referred to as corndogs.
It makes no sense, but over the years a lot of LSU fans get frustrated by it, which only encourages the use.

We used to buy box or two for auburn game at our tailgate.
Those frickers would walk by and started talking their corn dog shite we'd throw frozen ones at their head.
