Irresponsible to go out to eat or meet friends for drinks once a week.

Ah yes. I recall my boomer parents going “out for drinks” once a week as a kid. They had the help watch us kids.

Where did you grow up? LOL, we never had “help”. My 4 brother and sisters were “the help” and my parents didn’t go out for drinks. I assume it was tongue and cheek, lol

I'm not saying these services aren't necessary, it's just they're were not as many things to spend money on. We watched TV through a rabbit ear antenna for free because there was no cable.

Yep. They all have a $500 phone with a massive per month contract. But it's essential!

Not gen z, but I would legitimately get fired if I got rid of my cell phone or got one without email and texting capability.

$1,800 in today’s dollars and lasted 10+ years.

About the same as one night at a Taylor Swift concert.

If those stupid zoomers would just get rid of their cell phones, TVs, internet, cable, and lived in a 1 bedroom trap house rental on Plank Rd. they could have a house in no time!

Not wrong.

But part of the issues might be that wage growth generally hasn’t been keeping up with cost of housing, transportation, etc.

Or they (you) can keep complaining and doing nothing about it. That seems to be working out well.

Are you genuinely retarded?

No he's right. All those zoomers need to walk into Mr. Joe's Hardware Store, look the owner in the eye, give him a firm handshake, and ask for a job with a salary that can feed and house the whole family. That's how they did it back in the day, I'm sure nothing has changed

You think Boomers were making careers as a hardware store hand? I think you’re a few decades off.

People still don’t grasp the irreparable harm that was done during Covid via money printing.

It definitely was. And? These aren’t football teams, you understand that right? You can actually be critical of everyone fricking you over regardless of their claimed party affiliation. Trump was a dem all his life.
