Dude is being detained and is just sitting peaceably on the curb with his hands in plain sight, and the cop tasers him in the back.
I've always supported LEO's 100%, but this is just stupid.

Agreed.
Cop will hopefully be fired.
The prevalence of cameras is a fantastic thing.
Sadly, we are beyond the point where we can reverse the course of militarized police and military police mindsets.
It has become hyper-politicized and is no longer possible to distill the concept down to “militarized police are bad for all Americans”.

I back law enforcement, but there are and will always be incidents like this unfortunately. Some people just fricking suck.

I agree with Scruffy.
What we need to do is pass federal legislation that cops can only carry a .38 Special six shot revolver with six extra rounds in a slow to load pouch and a 36” baton. No body armor, no Tasers, no pepper spray, helmets or rifles. Plus we should only allow a maximum of three officers to respond to any one call and one of those officers has to be a female minority handicapped American Indian Eskimo military veteran with a PhD in Social Work who votes Democrat.
If the non-militarized police run into a body armor wearing thug with an AK-47 who is hell bent on killing them then oh well. I mean they signed up for this right? Important thing is that people can rock themselves to sleep at night knowing the police aren’t “militarized.” Of course, when people shoot up schools, churches or Scruffys hospital we will just have to accept the losses that likely could have been stopped with rifle toting and heavy body armor wearing police. Juice is definitely worth the squeeze.

The lady officer said put them out and then cross them. Which is what he was doing. Instead of tasering him, why not just cuff him lol.
