quote:yes, but the systemic degradation of the police force via blm and democrat politicians over the last 4 years has made it worse. furthermore, when someone else makes a, "mistake," they don't have qualified immunity, people don't die under a rain of taxpayer funded hot lead, have their assets seized, or are wrongly fined and imprisoned by the police state. if a doctor screws up, sure, you could die, but there's the possibility of compensation. with the police state, compensation is a near impossibility. we have bottom feeder double digit iq individuals enforcing an ever-growing police state. every time the gavel drops and the plebs get what they want, i.e. "there should be a law," we give these state mouthpieces one more reason to fine and imprison us, and one more way for qualified immunity injustices to take place. stop downplaying how disturbing that scenario is.
There are incompetent people in every profession.
quote:i bet i wouldn't, and i'd bet your bootlicking arse would be better off if you thought the same way. if my life is in imminent danger, i'm not calling the state to come save my life. not everyone wants cradle-to-grave coddling by the politicians and their bureacrats and police force.
I bet your arse that if your life were in danger and needed assistance you would be calling these “morons” in a split second.
it's no fault to the individual officer himself, but his job means that he is inherently not a friend to a free citizen. the day that so called "small government" conservatives get that into their minds, and the day that leftist democrat authoritarian statist shills realize the head of the snake is the politician passing the laws and not the policemen enforcing them (no law = no arrest), is the day this country can start moving forward.

I can’t stand a-hole cops. for every a-hole there’s two nice ones. Just like anything in life honestly.
I’d be an a-hole too if my career revolved around babysitting grown adults all day everyday.

A lot of people rethought their support for the police during covid. At least I did.

What does this have to do with covid? Or what are you getting at?

Even the shittiest cops on the beat have done more to benefit society than you ever will in you entire life. They may be power hungry bullies who are complete dickheads but they still take bad guys off the streets, deter people from driving too fast or texting and driving through the school zones your kids walk through, are the first to show up if your son or daughter gets into a wreck and is seriously wounded.
Wearing a badge doesn’t put someone above the rest of society or the law. You want people to respect cops more? Don’t let the badge be an excuse as to why so many shitty cops act the way they do. Doing good things sometimes doesn’t void someone of the consequences for doing bad.

So yeah man, there's a lot of shitty cops out there and they should be held more accountable for their shitty actions.
This is all a rational person wants. Accountability, not excuses.

Those two women should never be cops again.

I know roughly 10 cops in my town. 8 of the 10 were no pussy getting bitches in high school. I can promise you their goal was to be “the man” as they became an adult. Protecting the public was not #1 on their list to become a cop. Are there good ones out there? Of course. However they’re the minority

lol what? I do not have an alternate account - I say what I say from my primary account - I do not hide behind something else. I will own what I say, right or wrong - and if I am wrong, I own it.
and considering the upvote and downvote shite is pointless and stupid, I could give a frick if I get 500 either way - just like whose line is it - the points do not matter.
I know cops do some WAY stupid shite and they deserve everything they get. but maybe instead of celebrating the stupid ones, which this is a form of that, celebrate the ones that do good.

There's more blind cop hate in this world than there is blind cop worship. I'll explain something to you since you're clearly a blind cop hater. Even the shittiest cops on the beat have done more to benefit society than you ever will in you entire life. Lol. That's a lot like saying "yeah doctors make mistakes and occasionally kill people, but that's better than trying to hold them accountable and everyone quits".
This is a friendly reminder that there's no legal punishment for dereliction of duty, desertion, cowardice, etc for any LEO. There's no legal duty for them to do anything. That's not even touching the absence of bad conduct discharge or dishonorable discharge for LEO who really frick up. Instead they resign in disgrace and get a raise at a nearby municipality with no consequences whatever.
This sort of thing will continue until that is addressed.

I think that he was referring to the tyrannical "I'm just following orders" behavior of your heroes in blue during covid lockdowns.
You know, when the cops were arresting people for having Church Services (Moscow, Idaho), Arresting people for opening their businesses, Arresting people for surfing all alone (to stop the spread of covid).
Typical moron cop logic.

Cops fail to make an arrest in 40 percent of murders nationwide (higher in urban areas).
80 percent of murders occur between people who know each other.
Back the blue. What would we do without police reports for insurance companies.
