WTF? No doubt this woman was being a bitch but they were well within their rights. She just handled it the wrong way.

I was talking to a guy today. He was telling me how he is having trouble getting full time work because he has a felony. He was caught with weed at 17, and got six months unsupervised probation, then caught at 20 with weed and did six months supervised, then caught at 23 with weed and did 14 months in Hunt correctional. For weed. Now I get, yeah he did get caught three times, but how many of you have had pot on you more than three times? It could be any one of us. It's just a really shitty system as it is now.

If he would quit breaking the law, he wouldn't be going to jail. The law is the law. Till then, screw that punk.

They get paid for civil rights violations. Reasonable attorney's fees included.

Yeah, we know that. Any idea how hard it is to sue the police department for an unlawful search?

Good story, unfortunately I've read plenty others where locals in other areas of the state have been really obtuse on marijuana legalization. Stores weren't open yet but busts were still happening to clubs, delivery services, and grow ops. In my opinion it should've been left alone period.

Yeah, they've dragged arse on getting the whole system set up. Some communities are still uptight about it. No one will serve prison time though.

Exactly. Now tell me where you are again? I have a list of things that I need you to do. Also, tell your wife to bend over when I get there. I'm horny.
You'll be the 1st to get shot in a situation like this, congrats though!!!

Unfortunately for you your fourth amendment rights are often only enforced in court when you assert them.

My oldest son had some friends in film school who were filming a movie scene at his apartment. Neighbor reports to the landlord that they are shooting a porno movie. Landlord calls the police who show up "knock and talk" style.

Son calls me, hands his phone to the officer. I tell him "only because this is so incredibly stupid am I going to tell (my son) to let you come in." They were very apologetic and embarrassed because it was very obvious this wasn't a porn movie nor were any of those kids druggies.

The main guy called me back and apologized and apparently chewed the landlord out.
