Any one out this morning in south Louisiana notice a nice cool breeze from the north.

I even spotted our favorite biannual insect, the love bug, flying around.

After spending yesterday in a heat index of 110 and no wind, any morning breeze is going to feel cool.

It's still humid as shite, but yeah, there is a breeze that's making my porch bearable.

Isn’t there a heat advisory today? High of 97 with index close to 110 in laffy.

Walked outside this morning around 6 with a cup of coffee, and it wasn’t bad, and I’m in the City of St. George (ha). The humidity was lower although the temp was 76.

To be real, let's hope for September. But summer will come to an end.

It was much better than Saturday. I ran 8 miles and didn't even have to stop to cool off this a.m. Not so much yesterday. Low of 70 tomorrow a.m., we shall see ? But yeah I am ready for late OCT.

You typically start seeing some drier air in late August. I think the first wave will be moving through my area by mid week

No, its fuggin miserable. I'm doing small 5 minute long tasks in the yard, and nearly passing out. Have to take 30 minutes in the AC to recover.

Without looking it up, yesterday had to be one of the “feels like” hottest days of the year.

The high today in NOLA is 94.

It’s 91 right now and the ‘feels like’ is 102.

So, normal for August.

We'll occasionally get a "cool" snap in late September but August is always hot af with almost no exceptions.

This morning it was nice and breezy 70's. I decided to detail the wife's (no pics) car. By noon it was frickin 110 heat index and I was sweating my sack off. The wife (no pics) stayed outside while it was in the 70's and breezy then vanished when the breeze stopped and the heat turned up.

I know it's hard to believe, but it doesn't feel as a hot this year as it has the past two years.
