Lafite's is just a tourist trap. Nothing special besides cool architecture. But instead of the tourist side of the quarter, it's in the gay side.

I'd say check out Backstreet Museum in Nola.
Black Pot Festival is the best fest in Louisiana, at by far the coolest venue. I miss the hell out of it. It's been too long.
