Anybody notice that the lines at convenience stores are long as frick nowadays? Why that is? Is it because the difficulty of finding multiple cashiers? More EBT customer options?

Or have I just become more of a derelict during this whole pandemic deal?

I always find its easier and a hell of a lot cheaper to run in HEB, self check out, with what I need than waiting behind trash in convenience stores trying to figure out what lotto tickets and cigarettes they want.

I haven't noticed this but I have noticed the exact change only policy really pisses me off. I'm not using my debit card for a polar pop.

Ever since Mississippi started selling lottery tickets it’s gotten ridiculous. It was so nice before.

We have the lotto machines in GA. But they are always down or out of the good tickets. Each one of thosese machines do over 10k a day. So you'd think they would want to keep them stocked up. But I buy at the counter all the time too. I guaratee I'm faster than the people buying smokes, beer or any lady that had to find their debit card (which is almost every woman)..

We never had problems with lines at Time Saver.

I see a lot more lower income types in there, buying candy and sodas with Louisiana Purchase cards. It'll be like 9 people in line, always with one very nonchalant cashier.

Are people still avoiding grocery stores? Or is it something else?

In my neighborhood, all the rats visit Murphy’s gas station at 11:30 at night. I guess it’s drugs and hip hop music at that time of night. They all got to buy beer and fricking cigars and shite.
