frick the bever. That shite is nothing more than a traffic causer full of dumbasses thinking the shitty bbq is good.
I will say Buc-ee has some damn good lawyers are is currently using it to frick over numerous land owners.

There is a Bucees in Colorado where actual fights are breaking out, in opposition to the construction. Old man Malone is trying to stop it too, with his bazillions of dollars

yep the summer drought of a couple years ago was the best construction weather I’ve ever had in 25 years of doing it. And if the dirt isn’t right, especially on a massive civil scale like bucees you can’t keep going
That drought that year helped getting g the job out of ground but it was so dry that the dirt from the construction site turned into a fine talcum like powder and crested the worst jobsite dust storms when thw wind blew.

That's not the only location, just the first to make the news.

How did you know?
Grand Isle used to be some stomping grounds. I've spent many a night gigging. I love it for what it is, but it's not a dream beach location and how Bucees will portray South Louisiana beaches.

They were going to build one in Baton Rouge on Oneal Ln south of Walmart, but they changed their minds after the 2016 flood.

All of the Home Depots around the Baton Rouge area have had them for awhile. They are becoming VERY prevalent. Every one I've seen are Motorola and sold /maintained by a company called Flock.

What’s so funny? Please tell me you aren’t suggesting that pearland is in any way similar to the shithole that is Louisiana.

Nothing, I was talking about economic development of the area in general. I worked in site selection. South Louisiana would be one of the biggest centers of the logistics industry in America if not for these podunk town slack jawed cops. The ports are the only reason why they're here at all.

Beach theme is an homage to Carnival Beach.

I'd live in Lafayette, Youngsville, Broussard, Thibodaux, and some other places in Louisiana before Pearland. And I say that from experience.

I’ve lived in youngsville, denham, Baton Rouge, and north shore. I can’t think of one thing these towns had that would ever make me consider moving back to them. Can you help me understand why you would choose them? Maybe we have different opinions as to what is important to us.

They great compared to the rest of the state, that's it. Pearland, Clearlake, Katy, Tomball, Plano, Prosper, Allen, Prosper, Woodlands are all 10x better.

Man how nice it would be if Louisiana had a beach/water and town like Destin. Then I’d only have to drive about 3 hours instead of 7 lol

There's a scientific explanation as to why it can't happen, I think it has to do with the silt runoff from the Mississippi River. I'm not certain though.
