I don’t think this is a serious endeavor, but rather political theater for the base. There is no intention to mass deport several million people. They’ll go hard on some Venezuelans, because they’re violent commies, and let Cubans stay, because they’re educated and lean right, and they’ll drag out a bunch of lies and statistics to show everyone what they did. Very little will change.

FYI, I have some rentals in the hood too and the same thing has happened here. I used to buy them much cheaper than now. The city of LC is begging landlords to convert to section 8 because there is a shortage for people who qualify. The shortage is partly due to what you described which is illegals.

Lolz. I think Biden was a moron for allowing 6MM illegals to stream into the country. I think the lefts social justice campaign was idiotic, the tranny hill they died on was stupid.

I think they will get the criminals first and then we will see what their next move is
I wish they could get all 20 million but I do live in reality. If they could get 5 million or so that would be a huge net positive for our subsidy programs including and probably especially our healthcare.
I also think several will self-deport now that Trump is ending all Federal subsidies for them and FEMA stopped paying their hotel bills and the mayor of NYC said they can't afford it. The same will happen in other sanctuary cities.
As a side note, the funniest thing to me was the black community leader in NYC who was upset at illegals for taking their welfare AKA their free turkeys on Thanksgiving but instead of calling it welfare she called it "our resources"

My roof is around 108 sq with starter and ridge. Id have to pull up the Eagle View from 2021 to get the exact number but the point is I will be hurting big time if prices go up and I have to replace it but what many here fail to realize is the price has already gone up tremendously since I replaced mine in 2021 and will do so no matter if illegals are here or not.

Thats not what we saw here after Laura and Delta
ETA: I just checked an approved roof scope I was sent this week and it has O&P on it. Only roofing.
I also checked another claim that has more than one trade and it too has O&P
Both are from a third party adjuster if that makes a difference.

5 million is such a huge number. I’m not sure people comprehend the scale of that. You have to fly these frickers to a different continent.

exactly. again, I believe in immigration. i believe in what the Bible says about how we are to treat the foreigner.
i think 90%+ of immigrants coming to the country genuinely want to make a better life. i think probably 50% actually want to assimilate.
i hate taxes. i don't wish them on my worst enemy. but if we're going to have a system built on taxing work, consumption, and property, we can't allow it to be exploited in plain view.

it's surprising to me how many industries hire illegals. I grew up with a guy who's now one of the largest farmers in the State of LA. all of his workers are Mexican. all are documented. I'm sure it's more expensive, but damn, play by the rules or expect ICE to pick your workforce up off the job some day.
