Yeah, I feel like this every day. Too many dumb fricks walking around out there. Things will just get worse.

Yes, some threw moon rocks at them as well.

Leicester winning the premier league? Saints Superbowl in 09? Those were rigged before the start of season for those teams to win?
I don't doubt influences can happen. We've seen it with players and refs. But no way a whole league is rigged with how many people would have to be involved in.

It's amazing the truth will never be revealed! Those same people were involved in 9/11, and they are now setting up Trump as their presidential nominee. Your best bet is to live "off-the-grid", and always keep your bug-out bag ready.

Because there's actual evidence for Global Warming. You have to be a total moron to believe the Moon Landing was faked.

You can look at satellite images of the moon landing sites on Google.
But typically, people are think the moon landings were faked are unable to convinced.

how do people that have never been to the moon know for a fact they do not have wind on the moon?

Plus don't you think Russia would have debunked this by now if it weren't true?
Russia still won't admit that they killed a woman when the craft she was on burned up in re-entry, why would they try to point out the US's lies?

Ummm... because pointing out their own lies makes them look bad, and pointing out our lies makes us look bad... obviously. Try to make a point next time.

Then there are the actual samples of moon rocks brought back, that were studied by THOUSANDS of independent scientists all over the world. In peer reviewed journals EVERY single one proclaims them non-terrestrial (and 100s of millions of years older than any rock ever found on earth, btw).
Moon Rock in museum is just petrified wood
quote:
The Dutch national museum said Thursday that one of its prized possessions, a rock supposedly brought back from the moon by U.S. astronauts, is just a piece of petrified wood.
quote:
The museum acquired the rock after the death of former Prime Minister Willem Drees in 1988. Drees received it as a private gift on Oct. 9, 1969, from then-U.S. ambassador J. William Middendorf during a visit by the three Apollo 11 astronauts, part of their "Giant Leap" goodwill tour after the first moon landing.

You say there's actual evidence for (man made) Global Warming; I say people have an agenda.

And yet BILLIONS of people do....and are convinced that I'm the conspiracy kook for not going along with such incredible nonsense.

No. There were 6 successful moon landings. Don't worry about it. A few of us are fighting a vain war on ignorance in this thread. Gruber was right, and all that.
It's too early for lunch, baw.

These are just some general points about stupid stuff I've read in this thread.
On the inability to put someone on Mars. A flight to Mars is exponentially more complex than a flight to the Moon. The Moon travels around the Earth and you have numerous launch Windows to get your capsule there. Simply controlling for Mars' long at it around the sun (which is not geosynchronous with Earth) is a huge stumbling block. Additionally we are only now studying the effect of prolonged zero G exposure on humans. The moon flight was actually a very short mission compared to a modern on the ISS. A trip to Mars and back is an even further leap in human endurance. All of that is on top of the need for increased radiation shields, more precise guidance systems (NASA literally hand checked the calculations to the moon, imagine how hard it would be to do the calc on a flight to Mars), more supplies, more psychological support, more redundancies in case something breaks (3D printers are huge on this front).
Even in spite of all of those obstacles NASA's Orion program has a target of 2035. To put that in perspective the moon is 238,900 miles away from earth. Mars on its closest approach to Earth in sixty thousand years years was 34,647,420 miles away. We will increase our exploration range of the universe by >100x in just ~65 years if Orion is successful.
The idea it would be a simple step to go from Earth to the Moon to Earth to Mars is ridiculous.
Yes it would likely have been easier to fly to the moon 1969 than to fake the landing. Rocketry had been a focus of government and military spending since WWII. There is no reason that a branch of technology considered critically important for military defense and for national pride could not advance significantly faster than the film industry. Look at the special effects of 1970's and 1980's movies, what about those movies convinces you that Hollywood (or some cabal thereof) was able to recreate a moon shot that good in 1969? Even today with all we know graphic effects, filmmaking, and cgi we can easily discern truth in filmmaking.
There is an incredibly amount of collateral evidence that the moon landing was real. The idea that all of this was made up and hasn't been exposed (when the U.S. Government couldn't even plant some WMDs in Iraq is insane).
Long story short. The conspiracy theories are ridiculous. We went to the moon and we will go to Mars, deal with it.

Correct. Some peoples minds are wired differently and you'll never be able to convince them of something they really want to believe. Most of these people have a monological belief system and that many of these conspiracies are connected in some way, usually by a bigger conspiracy that can be used to explain the smaller conspiracies.
