Well done Mitch...you deserve it.....you have really turned things around in New Orleans ever since you took down those Monuments and gave your earth shattering Monument Speech...

Last year's VP (Landrieu) becomes the President the next year - he was set to be President of the USCM long before the monument removal issue.
And, his selection was likely in anticipation that Hillary Clinton would be President.

Mitch used his whiteness and white privilege to co-opt the removal of statues that should have and could have been undertaken by a black mayor. He is building his future political aspirations on the back of past slaves and victims of racism. He is a racist and engaging in blatant cultural appropriation.
