Houston and Chicago have pretty much the same population

But Chicago had 300 more murders than Houston in 2018

New Orleans had 26% of the murders Chicago had despite having 14% of their population.

i live in one of the most dangerous cities in the country and the only time I think about crime is when I read about it on here. That said, I don’t have kids

In terms of the violent crime rate, there's virtually no difference.
