BR people don't really have an accent at all. I grew up in Central though and we tend to skew a little bit redneck there.

I'm not sure what you are fussing about man. I don't have anything against North Louisiana. I just thought the lady in the video sounded like she was from Alabama. Pull your panties out of your arse

t's definitely noticeable to me, although not as thick as others.
Unlike New Orleans, Acadiana, north Louisiana

It's a mild Southern accent. It's definitely not Yat or Cajun. Not even close.

I'm not familiar enough to pick out the individual town and regions. I'm just saying that I can usually tell they're from LA.
People from North Louisiana sound like they are from Southern Arkansas or Mississippi. Nola yats sound like they are from Brooklyn. Cajuns/Coonasses have a very distinct accent not found anywhere else in the country.
These are all stereotypes obviously.

Oh I have, I just can't really describe it. Matt Moscona has it sometimes.

Well, that's just how I was imagining you. Don't mess this up for me.

Yeah, I know about some of the NOLA accents. An old roommate was from NOLA and had a thick yat accent. And pretty much everyone has heard the Cajun accent.
I can see how you wouldn't notice it as easily but there is a distinct sound to Baton Rouge (although I don't know how widely distributed it is) as well. Like TH said above, I can't describe it but it's definitely noticeable.

Maybe so and I'm oblivious to it. When I spent summers in Washington the girls could tell that I was from the South. It worked in my favor in 1997 and 1998 though

And I'm sure Monroe, Ellick, and Opelousas would be in the top 10 nationwide for populations of 0 - 100,000 residents.
