Help a Baptist out. Friend’s kid is getting Confirmed, and having a confirmation party/get together afterwards. Do I need to bring a gift?

I’d just get them a rosary, or a pendant of the patron saint they’re picking.

A Catholic book/gift store should be able to help you out.

I don't remember getting much in he way of gifts from anyone but immediate family. I would just bring a gift card or something like that just to be on the safe side and give it if it seems appropriate. If not, keep it and use it yourself!

I took it as he’s a Bap and doesn’t know much about Catholic Confirmation. Maybe I’m wrong

Get him something small. Like a medallion with his patron saint on it.

Baptists don’t acknowledge saints?
