Yea. I forgot reconciliation.

Just found out it’s a first communion, not a confirmation. I’m assuming the same gift suggestions apply (except booze). Kind of weird getting a 9-10 year old a gift card. Does Walmart/target sell Catholicly stuff besides those Voodoo candles?

usually do Amazon gift cards. It's odd to me but my 12 year old hates getting cash. She's like "dad, what am I supposed to do with this?"
That doesn’t seem odd at all to me.
With a card she can order online. If she wants to spend cash she needs to go to a store. Unless you live close that usually means waiting for a parent to drive, which means the weekend.

Any communion is a sacrament , not just first communion. And you forgot 2, anointing of th sick and holy orders (which most will not experience).
I’m an ex-Catholic, we learned that in Catechism.
