Confidence imo, now when you go too far and get cocky, everyone just thinks you’re a dufus and laughs at you behind your back.

Intelligence

This is probably where I would go if I had to pick one. Because if I was smart enough, I would know the importance of being confidence which I could work on.

Stupid people don't really know, what they don't know.. So there isn't much self improvement.

Intelligence leads to confidence

Confidence does not lead to intelligence

General intelligence, known as “g”, and measured by IQ tests by a landslide. General intelligence/IQ is a robust predictor of income/earnings/Financial success, job advancement, employment, health and disease, poverty, crime, incarceration, successful parenting, welfare, illegitimate births, Educational achievement, and much more.

Im not saying this isn't true but is there a comparable test to measure confidence and how that relates to future potential? If not then the measurement of "g" alone doesn't mean much...sure the higher the "g" the higher potential someone has. duh! It needs to be compared to something.

Intelligence. By far.

If you're intelligent, you can gain confidence.

If you're just a confident dipshit, pretty hard to gain intelligence.

Confidence. I’ve seen some retards go far because they were confident enough to do so.

ETA: they do eventually get found out and run, but very rarely do I see intelligent people who lack confidence progress rapidly.

Holy shite. All of you that think that being confident is more important than being smart are exactly what’s wrong with America today.

Hopefully, none of you are confident engineers or doctors (or bankers or teachers or....)

Stick to instagram posts, kids.

I don’t think anyone said it was right, but it’s true. It is the way the world operates.

Confidence

Its not about the grades you make, its the hands you shake.

Your opening post may have answered your question. Confidence.

I’m assuming you’re referring to what you think was a grammar mistake, correct?

Successful in America = make the most money?

My goal in life has never been to make the most I can. I’ve never even tried to make the most money I can.

Important...I don’t know.

I would define it as being independently wealthy, not necessarily the most you can possibly make. But enough to tell everyone what you really think and not care about the consequences.
