Condensor fan won't start, next step ?

I've changed out the cap, and i try to kick start it but it wont take... what next ?

Lick the terminals to see if there's current.

Assuming the compressor itself is turning on, probably the fan motor.

I’ve had to change the contactor on a few of my units, apparently they go bad about as often as the capacitors

Is there a way to test the motor ?

Check voltage tomfan. If no voltage check contactor. You can take contactor apart most of the time and maybe file the contacts down until you can get a new one. Also make sure the electrical connections are tight on everything

Clean the contacts. Over time bugs or simple corrosion will cause the contacts to not close all the way.
