Concealed carry permit

I wanted to know how long the process takes.

I did it online.
The web site says it could take up to 4 months.

Did mine last year. Do it online then go to BR to do your prints etc. Mine took about 1 week.

It won’t take four months. Should have it in a week or two, I wouldn’t worry.

What’s the website? I took the class. Moved. Lost all my paperwork

Took me like 9 months. Came to TD and bitched about it. LSP cop in charge of CCP apps called me the next day and chewed me out. She told me to take down my post. I told her I would if she did her job. Got my permit a couple of days later


Need to renew it this year though

Jefferson’s County Alabama, no one in line at the window, receive application, complete it, hand it back to clerk at the window, 5 mins after filling in the application questions and it’s in hand. Entire process, including paying and laminating the license is about 10-15 min max. And it’s only $7.50 a year or $37.50 for 5 years.

Only good thing about living here.

If you turn the paperwork in at LSP and finger print there it will be quick. I had mine in a week and my buddy in the same class took about 6 weeks
