I know it’s not in the OP but what are everyone’s thoughts on the Lincoln Aviator?

Kia Carnival has SUV styling and it's actually roomy for a 3 row vehicle. When I was looking for a Telluride I happened to test drive a Carnival and it had everything I wanted. I got over the mini van angst real quick. It's a great car. I've had 16 cars in my 26 years of driving and my Carnival is the one I plan to hang onto forever.

I will say, whoever KIA paid to get everyone online to say nonsense like this deserves every penny. The Carnival looks like any other minivan but people regurgitate this talking point all the time

I will say the new Kias feel about a half step above their class. The Telluride, for example, isn't a "luxury" SUV, but it punches above its weight, especially at higher trim levels.
Frankly, that's true of the newer Carnivals as well. I'd be curious as to just what Kia's take on a "Genesis" upbranding would look like - maybe just like Genesis, but maybe not.

Reliability is shite. It is statistically less reliable than a Land Rover Disco...

Got a Telluride EX X-Line back in March. Love it. Highly recommend.

There are a ton of new 2025 GCs and Traverses that are getting $10k-$13k price cuts
Can’t speak to the Traverse except to say the redesign looks good.
I drive a ‘23 Grand Cherokee and it’s been good. If you go Jeep, stick to Limited trim with the 3.6 v6.

We have the Nissan Armada and really like it.
Got a really good deal on the platinum with bucket seats.

Sold my 2010 base V6, 2dr, HT, six speed, Jeep Wrangler for 16K.
29,000 miles, no stories, no bad habits.
Bought it new in 2010 for 22K.
Bought a new 25 Jeep for 38 OTD.
Very impressed with build quality so far.
That V6 is soild, and never had an issue.

I dont know anyone that has one, but if youre gonna spend that money, I'd consider an X5 with the 6.

2024
We really like it. Got a pretty good deal on it.
Wife had a 2016 GMC Terrain before that. Pretty reliable, but she drove it into the ground.

I like the redesign, but the crash rating isnt great, for how big it is. Drivetrain is solid.

I like both designs, 2024 and 2025.
The 2025 looks like it is trying to be a Range Rover.
Yea, the crash rating isn’t terrible, but it was improved for 2025.

New traverse looks really good but FIL mechanic said the Traverse motors are notoriously bad and they're already seeing the new ones in.
Nope.

Did a family trip in a 2025 Traverse a couple months ago with my wife's cousin. They traded a 2023 Grand Cherokee L for it. The Traverse is infinitely better.
My wife has a '19 with the 3.6 V6, has 310 HP. Got some get up go.. Only thing I don't like about it is the auto stop where you can't take it off...
She has the LT3 with the 20" wheels.. We take it everywhere...
The 2025 Z71 is pretty nice..

Beyond both being large SUVs, the 2025 armada and the 2025 Range Rover look absolutely nothing alike
