A 4Runner for less than 28k? Roomy compared to what? A clown car? As an adult it’s cramped in the back seat and I’m only 5’11.

you are an idiot

the 4runner has the most interior passenger room of any suv on the market today, you cant find anything with more interior space unless you get a cargo van

My fiancé’s explorer beats it by a mile. You put three adults in the back of a 4Runner and you’ll be cramped as shite.

The new Blazer is really nice although I resent them calling it “Blazer”.

The CR-V is better than the RAV4 IMO.

i fit 4 large adults in the back seat of my 2006 4runner and they are not cramped at all so stop your lying when you dont even know what you are talking about.

i just brought 8 people out to eat for good friday in complete comfort in my 4runner although 2 had to use the jump seats in the cargo area

maybe if you are talking about something from the 80s or 90s those might be smaller but not the newer ones

She really liked the crosstrek, the only issue for her is that she's short, and for some reason the lift back is too tall for her to reach after it opens, she has to jump a bit to grab it to close it. She always use the storage space in her audi, so it's a concern.

It is honestly high, and the salesman didn't know if it can be adjusted.

I know the forester and outback have a memory setting for the tail gate. But possible they didnt include the feature on the cross trek.

ETA:

Also, Did you look at the new Forester? It's redesigned this year. The model trim that gets you leather is around 30-32k, which is a little higher than you mentioned. outback runs about 2k more than that for the leather trim. They both drive very different, and I think the Forester has a little more go to it.

With that said, I think the honda CRV is the best compact/midsize SUV in terms of ride/features/safety. Leather starts around 31-32k on their models I think.

I have the 2019 Forester, wife has the 2017 CRV.

I've recently test driven the cx5, VW tiguan, new blazer, tacoma, 4runner, rav4, colorado..and the new ford ranger(enjoyed this one). But I was really indecisive for what I wanted within our budget, haha. Ended up going with the forester.

He can't because it is factually inaccurate. The Sequoia has a lot more passenger room and it isn't even an extended wheelbase large SUV, the Pilot has more passenger room if you limit it to mid-sized SUVs just as an example. The extended wheelbase SUVs are huge in comparison. Interior space has never been the 4Runners strong suit.

Wasn’t large enough for car seats and all the shite required for 2 kids on a road trip.

Wife has a QX60 which is the same size. I've brought a carseat, kennel, triathlon bike, luggage, and christmas presents in it. It's easily large enough for a road trip and 2 kids with car seats. Not recommending the vehicle, just saying that is nonsense.

My wide’s Buick Enclave is the biggest piece of shite ever. Thousands of dollars in repairs. AC twice

Talking to someone today with an Enclave and they love it but the rear air went out and the dealer had to pull the front doors off and remove the dash to fix it. Do not know why the doors had to come off.
The full length sunroof is cool looking though and the damn thing will parallel park itself which is cool but would probably be of zero use.

So you still think the N210 has more interior room than a Sequoia much less any of the extended wheelbase versions?

FYI even the Honda Pilot has more passenger and has a real 3rd row instead of jumpseats.

2006 4Runner

Just admit it you aren't a car guy and the dealer told you it was the biggest and you believed her. No no sir that bigger SUV we sell called the Sequoia is much smaller inside.

i was replying to DCtiger1 who claims the 4runner is small like a clown car and an adult cant sit in the back eat without being cramped as shite an it isnt comfortable

maybe the pilot is bigger but thats not the point

the point i was making is the 4th gen 4runnner isnt a tiny clown car adults can barely fit into as DCtiger1 was claiming

when a guy tells me something i own isnt the size it in fact is then i call him the idiot he is and your numbers may prove the pilot is bigger then the 4runner but it also proves i am right and he is an idiot talking shite so thank you for backing up my statement about the true space it has

I like 4Runner but it’s tight by comparison to many crossovers on the market today. To OP we have a VW Atlas it’s been solid so far.

Thousands of dollars in repairs. AC twice, the fricking wiper linkage broke and you have to take the entire dashboard out to get to it. So that was like a $600 repair. The battery cables got corroded and the stupid battery is in the floorboard by the second row of seats. So to replace the cables was a huge repair. Tons of random crap like that.

Our's was traded in at 30k miles.
But the rear AC condenser lost freon 2 times fixed under warranty.
That was about it.
I do hate that battery under the rear passenger foot area. Don't batteries emit gases?
I liked the LED accent lighting inside for night driving but that's really just a petty thing.
