I believe there is a place for lights of color and white lights to work together.

But don't get me fricking started on Mexican lights!

Coming in and decorating the houses the other lights don't illuminate

Nothing like hanging some colored lights. We usually build a big fire and drink lots of beer while we string them up.

Colored are OK, but WHITE is obviously preferred.

Never go yellow or red, I would not be caught dead with yellow or red.

My city has an ordinance that only white lights are allowed. Jews can get a permit for blue lights. But they never pay for the permit.

People have been fined for having trees inside with colored lights visible from a window.

I have a single strand of small white lights outlining the walkway to the house and the beds on either side of the front of the house.

Yes.

The white lights look fancy but burning. The colored lights look more trashy , but fun.

When I try to mix colored lights and white lights the white ones always end up in the outer reaches of the yard. I have no idea how it happens.

Whites only.

It's the only way to have Christmas lights IMO

when adding bells to a Christmas tree, the bell curve indicates that white lights are better.

It will always be colored lights on a tree for me. I just don't like white lights. I find they are too harsh on the eyes and also make the tree look less "warm" and more of a display you'd see in the store.

But to each their own
